I’m honored to have been nominated to serve on the Regional Hispanic Contractors Association (RHCA) Board of Directors.
RHCA has played a vital role in supporting contractors across Texas for many years, helping businesses grow through advocacy, training, and meaningful industry connections. I greatly respect the leaders and board members who have helped build and guide this organization.
Since 2022, I’ve served as a Membership Ambassador with RHCA, volunteering at events and connecting with contractors and subcontractors throughout our community. Through those conversations, I’ve had the chance to hear directly from many small business owners about the realities of running a company in this industry—the challenges, the risks, and the determination it takes to keep moving forward.
These conversations are one of the main reasons I accepted this nomination.
As a Latina small business owner, I understand the journey of building my business step by step, just like many in our field. I know the pressure small contractors face when competing for opportunities, expanding their teams, and navigating an industry that can sometimes seem to favor larger companies.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of advocating for small businesses and serving on the boards of nonprofit organizations dedicated to supporting entrepreneurs and strengthening our communities. These experiences have given me a deep respect for the responsibility that comes with board leadership.
Winning the RHCA Luna Award for Business Advocate of the Year was especially meaningful to me. The Luna Awards recognize individuals who help create opportunities and advance people within the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction industries.
If elected to the Board, my goal is simple: to continue advocating for small business owners and subcontractors who work each day tirelessly to grow their companies and contribute to this industry.
I believe our industry becomes stronger when we support each other, share opportunities, and collaborate.
That’s what "Stronger Together" means to me.

Me siento muy honrada de haber sido nominada como candidata para la Junta Directiva de la Regional Hispanic Contractors Association (RHCA).
RHCA ha jugado un papel importante apoyando a contratistas en Texas durante muchos años, ayudando a que las empresas crezcan a través de la defensa de la industria, educación y conexiones valiosas dentro del sector. Tengo un gran respeto por los líderes y miembros de la junta que han ayudado a construir y fortalecer esta organización.
Desde 2022, he servido como Embajadora de Membresía de RHCA, participando como voluntaria en eventos y conectando con contratistas y subcontratistas de nuestra comunidad. A través de estas conversaciones, he tenido la oportunidad de escuchar directamente a muchos dueños de pequeñas empresas sobre la realidad de dirigir un negocio en nuestra industria — los retos, los riesgos y la determinación que se necesita para seguir adelante.
Esas conversaciones son una de las razones por las que decidí aceptar esta nominación.
Soy una empresaria latina y dueña de una pequeña empresa y, como muchos en nuestra industria, he tenido que construir mi negocio paso a paso. Entiendo la presión que enfrentan los pequeños contratistas al competir por oportunidades, hacer crecer sus equipos y navegar una industria que muchas veces favorece a empresas más grandes.
A lo largo de los años, también he tenido el privilegio de servir en juntas directivas de organizaciones sin fines de lucro enfocadas en apoyar a emprendedores y fortalecer nuestras comunidades. Estas experiencias me han enseñado el valor y la responsabilidad que conlleva el liderazgo en una junta directiva.
Recibir el Luna Award como Business Advocate of the Year de RHCA fue especialmente significativo para mí. Los Luna Awards reconocen a líderes que crean oportunidades y ayudan a impulsar el crecimiento de otros dentro de la industria de Arquitectura, Ingeniería y Construcción.
Si soy elegida para servir en la Junta Directiva, mi enfoque será claro: continuar abogando por los dueños de pequeñas empresas y subcontratistas que trabajan todos los días para hacer crecer sus compañías y aportar valor a nuestra industria.
Creo firmemente que nuestra industria se fortalece cuando nos apoyamos unos a otros, compartimos oportunidades y trabajamos juntos.
Para mí, eso es lo que significa Stronger Together.
