Freight transportation

Freight transportation matched to your shipment, schedule, and destination

Pickup hours, packaging, access, and delivery needs all shape a freight plan. RFS helps confirm those details and coordinate the carrier communication behind your shipment.

Less-than-truckload (LTL)

For palletized goods, parts, and packaged materials that do not need an entire trailer. Use LTL when shared trailer space fits the freight and receiving requirements.

For a quote: Share commodity, pallets or pieces, packaged weight and dimensions, stackability, locations, dates, freight classification when known, and access needs.

Full truckload

For larger loads or freight that needs a full trailer. Discuss equipment, loading and unloading methods, shipment details, locations, dates, and appointments.

Dedicated transportation

For recurring lanes and defined schedules. Share frequency, shipment volume, equipment needs, operating hours, and receiving conditions so we can discuss the transportation requirements.

Expedited coordination

For time-sensitive parts, materials, and products. Share ready time, required arrival, exact locations, handling needs, and site contacts. Availability and arrangements are reviewed for each shipment.

Keep shipping and receiving connected

We help align pickup details, receiving requirements, and carrier communication. If plans change, we discuss the next steps with the people involved.

  • Confirm freight details and shipment contacts.
  • Coordinate pickup and receiving requirements.
  • Follow up on shipment updates and schedule changes.

For recurring coordination responsibilities, explore fractional logistics management.

Prepare before pickup

Review packaging, labels, weight, and dimensions before booking. Include limited access, liftgate, appointments, and special handling requirements in your request.
